Which seal for ret pally

SoC is not normalised right now I think, though I may be remembering incorrectly. FOR Retribution Paladins. Soc will be better in later game because it benefits from attack power and weapon. It deals percentage of your total weapon damage. Not the damage you read on the weapon but the damage you read on character stats Main hand damage. A good example is crusader enchant. The strength you gain effect soc because it increase weapon damage. Sor on the other hand is dealing way less damage.

Sor deals less damage if the weapon is fast, you can even read that on the skill. Its hard to increase the spell damage of sor because for Retribution build strength, agility ,hit and crit are better than spellpower gears. The most important difference is that SoR never crits. That means it will never proc vengeance buff which is the most important thing for retribution damage. So to conclude this. Olso you use sor for reckoning build because sor procs on reck extra attacks while SOc does not.

So for seal of command and seal of righteousness is very important the gear and the talents because this 2 seals are benefit from DIfferent things , things that you cant have at the same time. I was thinking about questing. I have noticed the same, and was about to open a ticket as that one is a Huge Bug left in the game.

Sotc don't require a defbuff slot, it's just physical damage, the JotC does nothing for it. You continue with.. But still there is no reason to use it in the first place since it don't give any bonus to SoTC, only a minor one for Consecration in that case.
